I, personally, consider it my job to educate the public about the Biewer Breed and to be able to submit for recognition of the Biewer to AKC and UKC. We have been recognized by ARBA and this is a major step towards the Biewer being recognized as a breed distinctly its own.

I strongly suggest you make sure your dogs are registered with a reputable registry like ARBA.
We are working hard to establish a purebred Biewer  foundation in America, so watch where you buy your puppy, and look for a reputable breeder who will be glad to give you references and allow you into their home.

So many other registries are registering anything submitted
to them without proof of authenticity or proof of testing   performed on their puppies. The Biewer  is not a Yorkie and we feel the name should not reflect the Yorkshire in any way. For this reason we will be registering our dogs with ARBA. We are excited about the advancements that have been made toward the recognition of the Biewer and look forward to a growing relationship with like minded enthusiast.
